This is a facsimile of a brochure published in 1935 by the Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Belges (SNCB).
It confirms the real complicity between the train, Tintin and Hergé.

It was already the train that took Tintin and Snowy on their first adventure, on 10 January 1929.
Tintin then travelled the world by rail, from Europe to Africa, via the Americas and the Orient.

Need we remind you of the shocking sequences in Tintin in the Land of the Soviets, Tintin in the Congo, Tintin in America, The Blue Lotus, The Broken Ear, The Black Island, The Temple of the Sun, The Sunflower Affair, to name but the most memorable?

With Tintin, ‘adventure roads’ became ‘adventure railways’, so much so that the train remained his favourite means of transport.
It's quite simple: when he can't take the train, Tintin flies to the Moon!

This brochure, reproduced in a limited edition and numbered from 1 to 2010, bears witness to this happy marriage between adventure and trains.
